It's strange to think that I might have an entirely different personality if I'd been born in a different climate, but I do really think that is the case. I rely on the perennial sunshine of the West. Don't know what I would do with myself or who I would be if I'd grown up in the Herbrides. Thanks for this glimpse of that very different kind of beauty, but you do a wonderful job of depicting your relief upon coming come.

Thanks, Julene. I always think of the outgoing nature of Italians, who live in a mild climate, compared to the reserved nature of the British, who live in a rainy, sometimes harsh climate. And what happens to those of us who move from a cold and soggy place like Chicago to a warm and sunny place like Colorado? Do our personalities change?
