What a disturbing contrast you paint, between too much and too little rain. Even more disturbing, for me, is why we must continue to debate climate change and the human role in it while our world burns up, while also going down the drain.

5 years already, thank you for writing this piece on the extremes we face. In California, I think about rain every day...and remember the years when it seemed the rain wouldn't stop.
