Incredible observations and photos of the hummingbirds. I used to have hundred of hummingbirds fly over the lavender, sage and Mexican sage in California. They were endlessly interesting to watch.

This is a beautiful picture of the hummingbirds! What an interesting site you witnessed! The rib cage must have been fascinating to see and realize what had happened. What a time at the cabin!

Tooth 'n claw. That picture of the humming bird reigning over the other one is positively horrific. Remarkable the defeated one survived to fly away.
