What a wonderful piece Kathy.

I like this paragraph "As the world gets increasingly over-connected . . . We need a way and time to connect with ourselves . . ." Getting off the subject a bit— the word "connect" and your photo of aspen trees made me think of aspen tree roots. How they grow in large groupings, from a single seedling and the root system is long-lived. I like how aspen leaves move with a slight breeze.

Great post Kathy. I really appreciate the insight about solitude and the importance of disconnecting from devices. It is wonderful food for thought and something I hope I can also attempt to do!
