Lovely! I love these hummingbirds too---lately I've been quite a few on the upper creek path when I run.

Me too! As I watch them in my own yard I am awed! They show their appreciation to me also a the one who bears the sugar water. Very cool creatures! Loved your pictures. They are a part of my life and I miss them when they are quiet at times. Thank you for giving them the limelight they deserve it!

I have one here at altitude that loves what I've planted in the containers. He sometimes helicopters my head before getting some precious nectar. I can't put any bird feeders out because of the bears.

The other week, a humming bird came flying up near my back door window as I was looking outside. I was quite surprised. It flew away lickety–split.
