Lovely. Your photograph is perfect. The Swallowtail story made me laugh both from the memory of trying to photograph them and the pleasure I've had too of having them land on me. Thank you for taking us with you to the cabin, once again.

Kathy,

Beautifully said. In fact, the last paragraph says it all. Thank you for this reminder to stop and experience the world instead of just charging through it.

I haven't visited in awhile. So just stopping by the enjoy the words, photographs, and to say "hello!"

I too have felt this way lately. Why do we have to be doing things constantly? I spent my birthday laying under an oak tree reading and soaking up the outdoors for a whole week. Getting in tune with myself and the natural world. It was so rewarding on such a very deep level that I feel like I had a tune up. I feel so content from taking that time for myself to recharge that it seems criminal to not do this for ourselves. If we all recharged and aligned how much better a world would it be!
