Yesterday I was skiing in Rocky Mountain National Park where snow was falling and covering trees and rocks. I was struck by the piles of snow that covered the tops of large boulders. Perhaps because rock is so serious and somber and snow is so light and frivolous, the effect was comical. It’s like putting a party hat on your serious professor. See if it doesn’t make you laugh or at least smile.
