Beautiful. And now I miss the Pacific Ocean. As I get older I'm really learning to value going someplace and staying put instead of chasing after "all" the sites, hopefully I am better able to learn/value one.
Lovely photos again.

Kathy, I loved your photos also, weather didn't look that bad?! Yes, so many years of seeing everything threw a car window is over for me. It was great when I was "young" and had a big need to see everything!! Even then I think it drained me. But the hard part is knowing were you want to focus your attention when your traveling, if you haven't been some place before. How to decide where you want to spend that time. But I like you am going to work on doing things in a more concentrated and focused way in future trips. Sounds like a whirlwind but a good one.

I love this "neck of the woods" you visited! I can't believe you saw all that in only one week. I started out my traveling days doing the kind of tour where you are constantly on the move and see one snapshot's worth of every place you pause. Then I learned to go without big plans or checklists, tried to learn to stay longer, to book only the first and last nights if possible, to wander within a smaller sphere, to soak up any really good spots I discovered. You miss stuff, sure. But you also know where you've been so much better--thanks for reminding me of this!

Ahhhh! You sent me right to those deck chairs. I can hear the waves lapping. What a gorgeous sunset! Thank you.
